Immigrant stories.
Food that builds community.
Cocina Libre is a social enterprise that uplifts immigrant stories to build belonging and community for all.
We create educational materials (books, documentaries, and podcast) and events (keynotes and workshops) where people connect over immigrant-made dishes and real, personal stories.
Money is used to provide immigrant chefs with professional culinary training and licensing.
It’s not just about food. It’s about community and belonging.
